Description:

The key facet of Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park are the ancient Indian ruins from a ceremonial site; the 2000-year old mounds and walls join natural features of the landscape form a 1-1/4 mile-long perimeter. Outdoor activities at the park include fishing along the Duck River, camping and hiking around the old ruins. It can be found just west of Manchester, two miles from the 9-hole Old Stone Fort Golf Course.
